What to wear to a Baseball Game!
Ok, I am obsessed with Pinterest. Especially when I am looking for something to wear. I don’t need to have exact items for things but I do need inspiration! So I am hoping this post gives you the inspiration you need when heading to the ball park! I will admit I titled this blog post “What to wear to a Baseball Game” because I have actually searched this on Pinterest before. Somedays I just can’t think straight, idk, maybe it’s because there is a screaming toddler demanding a different sippy cup. Or maybe I just try to do too many things at once because I literally haven’t figured out how to relax?!??! It’s true, I am 36 years old and I have a really hard time relaxing. That’s partially where this blog has come into play, gives me something to spend my free time doing what I love! This post is also partially selfish because Dusko & I are headed to the Friendly Confines(For you non-baseball fans, The FC is Wrigley Field) tomorrow night and I wasn’t sure what I am going to wear. Well, I actually am still not 100% sure. I mean, it may be snowing tomorrow or it may really be 62 degrees like it says. I guess we will wait and see!
At any rate, I messed around with a few different outfits. Disclaimer: I tried really hard to link exact items but almost all of my cubs gear is not exact. However, they are items I now want! Obvs. This first look is what I like to call the outfit I wish I could wear! lol, soon I will be complaining because I will be too hot in this shirt. I like to find a shirt that fits with the “theme” but isn’t necessarily a team shirt. Then add onto it. I always wear a little something with my favorite teams logo though! And of course my pop of color with my Tory’s.
Let’s GO Cubbies!!!!

Emerson’s Spring Fashion Finds
Emerson has been growing like a weed! Which means we get to go do our favorite thing….SHOPPING! My mom always jokes that she will probably grow up to hate fashion but for now, she’s in my hands. We have been finding SO many cute things that I felt like I absolutely had to share them. When I am shopping for her, I will admit it is hard not to get so emotionally connected to ALL of the cute, ruffly things you see. I try, and I mean try, because this does not always happen. To buy things that I know she will wear more than once and that are semi practical. I always almost always buy one size up from what she is currently wearing so she can wear it a full season.
I love when Emme wears jeans, she looks like such a big little girl! And cardigans are totally necessary for our crazy midwest weather. Warm one second and freezing the next! The only thing not exactly linked below is the jeans. I can’t seem to find them anywhere!

The Saguaro in Palm Springs
If you are headed to Palm Springs and looking for a super fun, cute, and less expensive(than the other hotels there) hotel than The Saguaro is where it’s at! I will be honest, this was not our first choice for hotel but we booked airfare before we even looked at hotels just assuming everything would be available. Well something you should know about Palm Springs is that a lot of the hotels are very unique, boutique hotels that only have a small number of rooms. This is awesome but really stunk in our situation. At any rate, we had a great experience at The Saguaro and I came home wanting to paint my house in tons of bright colors! lol. Seriously though, it just puts you in a better mood!
First of all, when you pull up, the exterior is so colorful and inviting!
This pic was taken right outside the front door, all of the colors make for awesome picture backdrops!
Shop my entire look HERE! My circle bag is sold out, but I got you girl! Linked a TON of my other favorites!
The pool is hoppin! Just a tip: if you aren’t into Dj’s and pool parties, you may want to stay away from here. There was a DJ there on saturday but he was gone by the time we got home from dinner!
The lobby is probably my favorite!! I love all of the neons and Cacti!
The rooms are all different colors! We got stuck with yellow, lol. I wish I would have thought to request pink!!! #nexttime
They also have super fun old props in the room like this camera!
You can shop my look HERE!
The Saguaro has complimentary bikes you can take out. Add this to your definite to do list! This was my favorite part of our entire trip! We rode around on the absolutely beautiful day and saw all of the bright colored doors on the homes! Such a cool experience(saving all of those pics for a later post)!
We will definitely be back for you Palm Springs!!! Have you ever been to PS? Would love to hear where you stayed or what you did in the comments!
XOXO,

Loft Try On Session!
Since I have two youngsters(1 & 2), I can’t always go to the stores that I would typically choose. The mall nearest to me has H&M, Loft, F21, Express, Banana, Gap, your usual suspects. I make it work! That’s for sure. But this week I wasn’t sure which store I wanted to go to. I took an instagram poll asking if I should go to Loft or Express. Loft WON! Not by a major landslide but it won! So, Loft is where I ended up. I am confident my wallet wishes I didn’t!!! I seriously think Loft gets better every time I step foot in there. And with 40% off(use code: HELLO), it’s quite a steal. I do feel like without the discounts they give you which is quite often, some of the items are a bit expensive. Although the clothing seems to wear pretty well!
I started my try on with tops, in absolutely no particular order because I LOVED Them ALL!!!! I seriously can’t get enough of puffy sleeves! Incase you can’t tell! lol Truly the fit is great on their clothing too! I am in a medium in all of the tops.
These are both the same top in different prints, they were SO comfortable!! I love how the sleeve has this bit of elastic to really keep the puff! I also linked my jeans & shoes from old navy! I am in a 10 in the jeans.
This top, just has a lot going on. In a good way! Could be worn for going out at night with jeans and a pair of heels, for a ladies casual lunch, or even dress it up for work with a skirt!
Love me a good t-shirt! Sorry about the black bra, rookie blogger mistake! haha.
Ugh, I didn’t buy this eyelet number but I am going to have too!! It is just a spring/summer staple. You can throw it on over a tank, a tee, it’s like a jacket but a shirt?!?!?! idk but I am in LOVE.
This cami is basically everything. It comes in black too. Wear it alone or with a cardi over it? Maybe a cute jacket? This is how I would wear it, with jeans and heels but is perfect for work too! Shop all of the items by clicking the links below! I even included a couple items that are on super sale that I thought were cute!
Oh my gosh, then I tried on pants! I am obsessed with the shade of yellow and the tie at the waist. Bonus: they are super comfortable and the perfect length where I don’t have to alter. I am in a 10. The wide leg pants, I honestly wanted to love them on me but I am so short they make me look super chubby! lol, but I am not kidding when I say the fabric is super lightweight and felt like silk. Maybe with heels they would look better?!?!?
Absolutely loved both of these dresses but there is only one Easter this year! haha! So I bought the lace dress. More because it matches the kids outfits a little better and I like the fit. The colorful dress feels like sweatshirt material and even has pockets!!! I am in a medium in this dress and 10 in the lace.
I had to buy this romper because it’s basically the only romper you will need this spring! Love the ruffle sleeves, off the shoulder neckline, and the wide leg! Plus it’s chambray so you can pop absolutely any color shoes or accessories with it to change up your look!
Some Loft shopping tips! If you have their credit card, you earn points, and I believe when you sign up you get 20% off. This is on top of any promo they are offering!
Loft Plus just launched on their website, this is pretty cool! Having worked in retail for so long, a lot of stores still don’t carry plus.
Happy Shopping!!!

Lissa
More Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers!
I literally couldn’t resist and had to go shopping for more goodies today at Target to fill the kids easter baskets with. I am a little behind on this since Dusko & I took our trip and the kids both being sick. I linked almost everything exact to my instagram story and added a couple fun things I didn’t see at the store that I just bought online-(Socks, and a hat that Emme already has)! Everything is from Target so you should definitely be able to get it in time for Easter!
Summer hats-I mean, great basket addition, you will buy them anyways and they are adorbs!
Socks-Kids always need socks
Bubbles/chalk-You always run out and they provide hours of entertainment. Or in my case, seconds! Lol, Max sometimes just dumps the bubbles out!
Play food-There is nothing cuter than watching your kids pretend to cook and serve you! Or each other for that matter and these Antsy pants items are too cute!
Gardening Tools-Just in time for spring, the kids love to do what they see mom & dad doing!
Pool Floaty-If you spend a lot of time in the water, a must!
We don’t really add candy to the kids baskets, just because they are still so young. But we do of course add fruit snacks!!!
Everything is linked in this fancy widget below!
A little Target Shopping tip: Spend $25 on Baskets, eggs, decor, and more and you get a $5 gift card to use next trip!
Below are some of the other items I had already purchased that I put in a previous post!

Perfect Date Night Look
Unfortunately Date Nights are few and far between these days, but when we do get out of the house I like to turn it up a notch! lol. I am only 5’2″ incase you can’t tell so I like to wear heels when I can, but they absolutely have to be comfortable these days. Sure beauty has it’s price but I worked on my feet for too many years and I am too old to wear 4 inch heels!
When I go to pick out an outfit, I usually start with my shirt, depending on my mood! I have a slight obsession with stripes especially when they are vertical(slimming)! I also love the detail on the sleeves, mostly the bow ties(similar shirts linked here). I paired them with my Athleta Sculptek jeans because I like the clean look they give and gosh are they comfortable. My faux fur jacket I got at the beginning of the season from Nordstrom, if you hurry and shop it, it’s currently 50% off!! Total steal, only a few sizes left though. These heels are from Old Navy, have you ever tried Old Navy shoes? Honest, they are super comfy. Every pair I have ever owned. Especially their heels because they aren’t super high either. Now, are they going to last forever, no. But are they cute and comfy?!?! YES! This exact color is sold out but I linked a taupe shade that will go with just about everything you own.
All of my jewels are Stella & Dot(the tassel earrings can also be worn as studs), and my purse has been my winter/early spring go to! It’s kind of a winter white but also great for spring and I of course love the tassel detail on the zipper. That Kate Spade knows her stuff!
What is your favorite Date night?!?!? Comment below!

Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers
I LOVE the holidays, and if it isn’t obvious enough, I LOVE shopping! My shopping habits don’t just stop at buying for myself, I love to shop for others too! If I had all the money in the world, I would just shop to buy that perfect gift for people all day long. I know some people think it’s silly to get their little ones valentines gifts, stockings, easter baskets, etc. but I simply enjoy it. I pulled together a few of the items I got for my little ones and linked them all here(below my signature)! When I saw these Mickey & Minnie Mouse stuffed animals with bunny ears, I literally couldn’t resist! Other than that, I always try to think of things the kids might actually need-ish. Lol, do they really need anything?!?!? Rain boots are always a great idea, plus, they can put them on themselves which is an added bonus! Sunglasses are just adorable if you can get your little one to wear them! My kids have gone in total spurts with this. Max currently likes wearing sunnies, last summer he hated it. So who knows what this summer will bring!
This pic is from Easter last year, here’s to hoping for all smiles this year 😂😍😊! Shop all of our looks right here. I couldn’t find my exact dress but linked 2 very similar!!

Lissa
The Henry
First off all, this restaurant is CUTE! And as you drive up to it you are looking at Camelback Mountain which is pretty cool too! We went there for brunch, when we got there the parking lot was super busy. That always leads me to believe it’s going to be good, but you never know. It was definitely busy but it is pretty huge, and we were there around 10:30 so we didn’t have to wait long. For breakfast/brunch, you order and they bring your food out to you. I had a chai tea latte, delicious, not super sweet, just right! Plus the classy looking to go cup they put it in I’m pretty sure makes it taste better! haha. Dusko had a coffee with cream and he was happy with that. We split the “Le Pig” Sandwich and the Smashed Avocado Toast. I’m not going to lie, Dusko wanted the avocado toast and I was kind of thinking, seriously? We eat that all the time. But it was pretty much the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. I am definitely going to try to replicate it! I am pretty sure the eggs on top were poached so it had just the right consistency! Check out the rest of their menu here.
We came straight her from the airport so I was still wearing my travel clothes! Shop my entire look here
They are opening a location in West Hollywood soon, so if you are in the area, check it out!
